My Views

1) It is very heartening to see that the country which appreciates Mother Teresa work for the poor, and releases Postal ticket on her


name, but doesn't follow her principle!!The Centre should respect the Supreme Court's order and it should find out ways so that the


food grains are not wasted and the poor people get the food to eat. The Govt. can try following initiatives :- a) Distribute the food grains to the poor for free. b) They can provide cheap food grains to the market so that the inflation rate also goes down. But it is not possible if Govt. is not willing to lower its prices as the cost of the food grains provided by the Govt. usually costs Rs100 more than the one which is available in open market. c) The last option available to the Govt. is that, according to MNREGA scheme, by the Govt, atleast one person of each family of India is entitled 100 days of work and daily wage of Rs100. Now what can


Govt. do is they can give Rs 50 as the daily wage and give away food grains worth Rs 50. And the cost of the food grain


should be taken as the cost given to the BPL family in PDS.


2) The zeal with which the politicians worked for their payment hike, and the unity by which they worked, could have been same for the


Kashmir issue, Land acquisition, Drought and flood which is affecting many states of India, against the Naxalites. But alas, it is not


so. The salary hike which was demanded by our politicians may not be wrong, but the whole procedure was wrong. There should be a


committe which should decide the salary hike for the MPs' which should not consist of the politicians themselves. Now there were


two main reason for their demand of salary hike. The first one i have covered in comment part of my previous posts. Now, the second


reason, they say that Secretary to the government of India get a salary of Rs 80,000, so they should get atleast Rs 80,001 as


they are superior to the Secretary. Now, let us compare the benefits they both get :- a) Each MP gets 2 mobile phones and 1.5 lakh free calls p.m. which is not so in the case of Secretary to the government of India b)The Secretary to the government of India doesn't get tax benefits as that of the Parliamentarians. c)Each MP gets 34 free air tickets to any part of India, with his/her spouse.Now, why do they ask for salary hike? For being an absentee in the Parliament? Or because they Walk out over some issues? Or for


creating a scene in the House?


3)Reservations :- This one word can simply be described in three words-Vote bank Politics. Father of our Constitution used this


term to uplift the helpless and the needy, and that too for 10 years, but our politicians used it for those three words. My say in this


matter is that why giving reservations on caste basis? why not on financial basis? Another question is why do we give reservations at


all? If we really want to uplift the needy and bring them to mainstream and get their help in developing India, here is what we can do:- a) Make a law that every private school educates children belonging to BPL whose count is atleast 5 to 10% of their total


strength. b) Financial aid be given to them so that they are not forced to work instead of study. c) Age limit for them should be increased so that even if they start late at their age and want to compete with other in


getting jobs or getting admitted to prestigious colleges, they can do so. 4) Immature behavior of politicians :- If any case arises as that of the example given by me in my previous post, the person in


question should be prosecuted before the law. Hatred is not what we want.


5) Increase the salary of Doctors, Teachers, Police Force, Security Force. They have respect and love for their profession. Let's not


make them irresponsible of their job by not giving them enough salary!


6) China :- We should not hesitate to Question China on Pok Issue. We should remember that if China attacks India then China will


also get destroyed. We are not the same country as that of 1962. So, what China is really trying to do is distract us from working


towards our developement. We can even threaten China, as China has in India its biggest partner in trade. We should not give visas


to Chinese officials who belong to Tibet, as Tibet is also a disputed land of China as Kashmir is that of India.


7) America :-Should we really do everything which America asks us do? America always support its companies, and make laws that benefits the same. Why cant we do the same? The nuclear deal says that the Govt. will acquire land for the


American companies who wil generate power for us. Why not let them acquire the land themselves and let the farmers and the land


owners benefit? The American countries will generate power for us and will sell it to the Govt. The Govt. will in-turn provide cheap


power to us by lowering the prices. Why not let the companies compete b/w themselves so that the effective costs be lowered?

India is developing?

Last week, I had been to Kolkata to meet my relatives. As I reached Howrah station I took an auto and went straight to my Uncle's House. When I was on my way, a scene changed my whole perception about our so called developing India. It changed my view that India is going to become one of the superpower country due to its continuously growing economy. What I saw was a mother of two took out some waste food from the garbage and gave it to her children to eat. This was the moment which made my soul shiver. Then I went to the house still thinking about the scene and some Questions arose in my mind and my soul which I would like to share it with you.



1) Decay of food grains:-As we all know there are some issues related to wastage of food grains due to unavailability of storage area and inhuman behavior of concerned ministers. And according to stats, 150 lakh tonnes of food grains are being decayed in one year and which could have been the food for 17 crores of poor people of India for the whole year!!Why is it so?



2) India is rising by 8% :-Is it so? According to the present situation I can say that it's not that India is growing by 8%,but only 8% of India is growing.



3) Politician's salary :-Was it so necessary to increment the salary of our great MPs'??And that too by 3 folds? And that too when 77% of Indians are below poverty line(BPL) and 45% of Indians earn their daily wage below Rs 20???



4) Land acquisitions and Miss Mayawati :-We all know what's happening with the poor farmers of U.P. They are not being given enough compensations. And what to say about Mayawati? She calls herself 'garib ki beti' . Does a 'garib ki beti' snatch away the land of the helpless and the poor??



5) Reservations :-Our beloved politicians are giving reservations to backward caste people. Instead of backward caste people, why not give it to economically backward people?



6) CWG :-Our country is hosting commonwealth games this year. And what's happening? There is a loot in every department which are responsible for making the games a huge success. You are not even questioning the officials responsible and you waiting for the CWG to come to an end??The money in question could have gone to some welfare schemes.



7) Favoring Companies :-We all see very frequently that Govt. of India and states favours the industries in case of Land acquisitions and all. Why not make a law and let companies acquire the lands required themselves??



8) Immature behavior by our leaders :-I get an example in my mind when our beloved chief minister of Bihar, Mr. Nitish Kumar sent back Rs. 5 crore which was given by the people of Gujarat in order to help the flood affected people of Bihar. I have a Question- Was that money Nitish's own? or was it that of Gujarat Govt. or Mr. Narendra Modi??It was that of people of Gujarat who tried to help their own countrymen...What a pity!!!



9) Procurement of missiles and different weapons from other companies :- They are buying the weapons and ballistic missiles from other country even if India is capable of developing any types of missiles and nuclear weapons, an attribute which only country of the World possess..(As told by great scientist and our Former President Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam).It seems that our Govt. hold some kind of deal with American and Russian companies!!



Now, I would like to address some issues related to some countries of the world.



10) China :- Why do we people hesitate to question China on it's deeds? Why not refuse visa to officials from the Tibet region on the same account as given by China by not giving Visa to Lt. B S Jaswal as he belonged to disputed Kashmir region??



11) Pakistan :-Pakistan is suffering from the worst flood ever. India tries to help Pakistan by donating 23 crores. And what does Pakistan do??It refuses to accept. Then why do you put your ego at stake and offer them the helping hands again?



12) America :-America tries to suppress the Indian Companies and its worker by levying a heavy tax on them. And we people try to help American companies by acquiring land for them. And when they generate power the Govt. will buy at their rates. Why not let the different companies compete so that they can sell the power generated at cheaper rates?
